Vendor Policy

By reserving a table at the Pop 1 Card Show ("the Show"), each vendor agrees to this Vendor Policy in full. It applies automatically to every vendor and their staff, and forms a binding agreement with the Show organizer ("Organizer").

The Show is a welcoming, all-ages event for collectors. Vendors are expected to be professional and respectful to attendees, staff, and fellow vendors at all times. Rude, aggressive, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal.

Vendors must follow all applicable laws, venue rules, and reasonable instructions from venue staff and Show organizers. Each vendor is solely responsible for its own business licensing and for collecting and remitting any Michigan state and local sales tax on its sales.

Table fees are non-refundable. In place of a refund, credit toward a future Pop 1 Card Show may be issued as follows:

• 30+ days before the Show: full credit toward a future show.

• 7–30 days before: future credit, less a $15 administrative fee per table, per day.

• Less than 7 days before: future credit, less a $25 administrative fee per table, per day.

• Less than 24 hours before, or a no-show: no credit, and possible loss of future vending privileges.

Vendors may not sell food or beverages, counterfeit or replica product, stolen goods, tampered or resealed product, or any unlicensed or infringing merchandise. Selling prohibited items may result in immediate removal without refund and a permanent ban.

Tables may not be moved or rearranged without approval. Fire doors, exits, and walkways must remain clear at all times. Displays should be reasonable in size and must not obstruct attendees, neighboring vendors, or exits.

Vendor-run raffles, mystery packs or pulls, gambling, and betting are not permitted without advance written authorization from the Organizer in compliance with Michigan law. (The Show's own free raffle is run by the Organizer and is separate from vendor sales.)

Speakers or amplified sound may not be used without the Organizer's written consent. Any activity that disrupts attendees, other vendors, or Show programming is prohibited.

The Organizer is not responsible for any loss, theft, damage, or disappearance of vendor merchandise, inventory, cash, equipment, displays, or personal property, from any cause. Vendors are solely responsible for securing their own property. Vendor insurance is encouraged but not required.

Vendors may not remove, misuse, or damage event property such as tables, chairs, covers, cases, or signage; damage or theft may incur a $100 fine per incident. Vendors must keep their area clean during the Show and fully clear their space of trash, packaging, and merchandise at the end. Failure to do so may incur a cleanup fee of up to $200.

Vendors agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the Organizer harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from their participation, merchandise, conduct, or staff. The Organizer's total liability to a vendor will not exceed the fees that vendor paid for the applicable Show, and the Organizer is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

The Organizer may enforce this policy at its sole discretion — including fines, confiscation, removal without refund, or temporary or permanent bans. The Organizer may also modify Show dates, hours, floor plans, or table locations, and may remove or terminate any vendor, with or without notice, for policy violations, unlawful conduct, safety risks, or disruption. Removed vendors are not entitled to a refund.

The Organizer is not liable for delays, interruptions, or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control (including acts of God, weather, government orders, or emergencies). No automatic refund or credit is owed unless the Organizer decides otherwise.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration in Michigan rather than in court, and vendors waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.
